Once described by the New York Times as “the classiest brass act going”, we’re proud to be the UK’s longest-established brass ensemble.
With trail-blazing recordings on our own label and with Warner Classics, our ten players bring together a rich mix of musical backgrounds — from orchestral principals to film-score & jazz soloists. We’ve performed for audiences around the world and loved sharing our music through education work along the way.
Now happily heading into our fourth decade (with some players tracing their musical roots back to the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble!), we’re excited to perform at Westminster Cathedral and The Guard’s Chapel, tour Germany twice, and present our own concert at London’s King’s Place this autumn.
